We are a group of scientists and engineers working at the intersection of chemical engineering, materials science, and the physical sciences. Our goal is to advance fundamental understanding of molecular processes related to charge transport and reactions at electrochemical interfaces to inform the development of effective solutions to society’s pressing environmental and energy challenges. We recognize that individual lab members each bring a unique perspective to this work and strive to build a deeply collaborative and inclusive culture to effectively combine these perspectives, yielding creative results. 

Graduate students interested in joining the group should apply to the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Northwestern University. Questions about our research or anything specific to the group are welcome. Postdoctoral Researchers interested in electrochemistry, energy storage, materials design, and laboratory automation are encouraged to apply directly to Jeff. Undergraduate research is a fantastic means to explore opportunities in chemical engineering outside of the classroom and build useful skills for future careers in any area. Research can be performed as a work-study job and work-study eligible students are encouraged to reach out for more information about these opportunities.
